Statistically speaking: Small-business owners planning for growth

One in four small business owners plan to hire new full-time employees in the next 12 months, according to Citibank Small Business Pulse, which surveyed 750 small business owners and operators. Here are other findings from the June report:

5% said they are considering a staff reduction.

13% said they are looking to add a new location.

54% covered several jobs because they could not afford to hire additional employees.
