Sailboat racers from across the United States and Canada will take to Lake Norman in mid-July for the annual Flying Scot North American Championships.The championship regatta is scheduled for July 13-19 out of the Lake Norman Yacht Club. Titles will be decided for the North American Championship as well as for juniors, women’s and seniors divisions.The women’s and juniors divisions will race July 14. Qualifying races for the North American Championships are set for July 15-16. The championship and challenger races to decide the North American Championship will be July 17-19.The registration fee is $255 for championship entrants, and $50 for women’s and juniors entries.
