Lenoir man arrested on cocaine charges

LENOIR – Police say complaints from the community helped lead officers to the home of a Lenoir man who was arrested last week on drug charges.

According to police, Keith Lamont Davenport, 42, was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver cocaine; maintaining a dwelling to keep and sell cocaine; and manufacturing by cutting and repacking cocaine.

Police say they heard from the public about possible drug-related activity at Davenport’s home in the 300 block of Glenwood Place. Officers searched the home late last Wednesday and said they found 3.7 grams of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
