Two Cleveland County men were fatally shot Saturday and authorities have not identified any suspects, the Rowan County Sheriff's Office said.

Daniel Carlton Redman, 21, of 628 Cedar Glen Circle, and William Thomas Redman, 20, of 112 School St., were found dead about 3.5 miles away from where the shooting began on Saturday night. The men were cousins, according to Observer news partner WCNC.

Sheriff’s officers were dispatched to 1025 Mountain Road in Cleveland, about 10:10 p.m. Saturday in response to a disturbance at that location.

The caller from that address told dispatchers that there were several men at the residence with guns. The caller also advised that shots had been fired, and that an orange and black, Harley edition Ford F350 pick-up truck was leaving, traveling towards Carson Road.

At about 10:25pm, Rowan County dispatchers received a call from 520 Hildebrand Road in Salisbury. The caller from the address said that there were two gunshot victims there, located in an orange and black pick-up truck.

Deputies arrived at the Hildebrand Road home and found the two victims dead.

Capt. John Sifford, a spokesman for the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office, said the department won’t likely decide what charges to file in this case until at least Monday.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call 1st. Lt. Chad Moose at 704-216-8687 or Crime Stoppers at 1-866-639-5245.
