Waterproof your toes
I recently had toe surgery and needed to keep it dry for a week until the stitches were removed. I used a thin disposable rubber glove on my foot while showering. It was tight-fitting around the middle of my foot, which kept the water from seeping in. It was easy, comfortable, reusable and did the trick! Heidi Kramer, Charlotte
Snip those scallions
When a recipe calls for sliced green onions (scallions), we actually snip them with our kitchen shears right over the bowl. It is much easier that trying to slice them with a knife. Teddi Peters, Fort Mill
