Police seek public’s help in finding thieves

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying three suspects videotaped stealing several Apple products from a Lenoir Wal-Mart.

The three women were observed on June 28 distracting the sales associate while removing several Apple iPods and iPads from a locked sales case in the electronics section of Wal-Mart, at 935 Blowing Rock Blvd.

Authorities valued the stolen merchandise at $5,879.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Lenoir Police Department at 828-757-2100 or the Lenoir/Caldwell County Crime Stoppers at 828-758-8300.
