Actress Lisa Robin Kelly dies

Actress Lisa Robin Kelly, one of the stars of TV’s “That ’70s Show,” has died, CNN reported.

“Lisa had voluntarily checked herself into a treatment facility early this week where she was battling the addiction problems that have plagued her these past few years. I spoke to her on Monday and she was hopeful and confident, looking forward to putting this part of her life behind her. (Wednesday) night she lost the battle. Cause of death has not been issued yet and no death certificate has been issued either,” CNN quoted her agent, Craig Wyckoff, as saying.

Kelly has lived in the Charlotte area. In December, she and her husband were charged with assault in their Mooresville home.

Responding to a late-night disturbance at a home on Citation Drive, police arrested and charged Kelly, with one count of misdemeanor assault and Robert Joseph Gilliam, 61, with one count of misdemeanor assault on a female.

Kelly portrayed Laurie Forman, sister of Topher Grace’s lead character Eric, on the Fox series, which ended in 2006. She also appeared on the TV shows “Murphy Brown” and “Married ... With Children.”
