This month marks my two year anniversary with Carolina Bride! I'm amazed at how quickly the time has gone by, but I've loved every minute of blogging and freelancing for the magazine. Before I started this journey, I wasn't sure what direction I wanted to go with my life. I graduated with an English degree, but I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it. Then I got married and the whole process was so exciting. I've always been a BIG romantic, but I never imagined finding someone as perfect for me as Robert. Our day was no longer just a wedding, it was the day I got to celebrate our story and marry the man I loved. From there, I started blogging about the process and celebrating every day of our newly married life. When Carolina Bride accepted my blog, and later offered me a freelancing opportunity, I was beyond ecstatic! I have loved the magazine for years and I'm blessed to hear the stories behind the weddings firsthand. The whole journey has been amazing and now I know the wedding industry is my dream field. I'm so thankful for the opportunity Carolina Bride has given me. More than just finding my dream career path, this process has helped me gain a better sense of myself. My posts have helped me find my style, learn how to budget, and come to grips with the struggles of financial instability. When others reach out to me and share those feelings, it's even more amazing! I pour so much of my heart into this blog and having readers who share my posts means the world to me. I can't imagine how our lives will be in another year, but I can't wait to share all of the excitement and struggles with you!So as a sign of appreciation to all of my readers, I do have an anniversary giveaway! This beautiful bracelet is by LinMac Designs, and makes for the perfect accessory for a date night with the hubby. To win, simply send me an email at email@example.com. I'll select a winner at random and publicly announce the winner on Friday. Good luck everyone, and as always, thank you for reading!
