5 Charlotte teens become Eagle Scouts

Five teenagers from Boy Scout Troop 116 in Charlotte (St. John's Episcopal Church) recently became Eagle Scouts:

Jackson Dunn, 17, a Myers Park High junior. For his service project, he built a ticket booth at the high school stadium.

Capps Harris, 17, a Myers Park senior, constructed an outdoor learning center at Carmel Middle School.

Landon Holbert, 17, a South Mecklenburg senior, built an outdoor fitness center at the high school, which included planting trees.

Dan McFalls, 18, a senior at Charlotte Latin, constructed trails at the Carolina Raptor Center in Huntersville.

Nate Tomey, 18, a South Mecklenburg High senior, constructed Field to Fork planting boxes at Carmel Middle School. Field to Fork is a Fuel Pizza community relations program.
