Are you somebody who wants to start their own small business? Interested in hearing what lenders look for in a business plan?

The Charlotte Observer and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina are hosting the breakfast event: "Financing Your Great Idea," Tuesday, Sept. 17. Lenders and a businesswoman will share their tips for small businesses on how to put together a successful funding proposal -- whether it's to expand an existing business or start a new one.

Speakers are: Bob Marshall, Business Banking Manager, Wells Fargo; Dan Gotte, Director of Inception Micro Angel Fund-Charlotte; John Hipp, CEO of New Dominion Bank; Bill Gibson, Small Business Banking Manager for Bank of America; and Robyn Pellei, CEO of local business ViveVita.

The event is now full, but we will be recording it and including it online. Stay tuned for details. We will also Tweet live from the event. Follow #shoptalkclt.
