Jenifer finally engaged the pto (power take off) on the tractor, after 1.5-plus years, and started operating the bush hog. She had me check it when I came home for lunch on Thursday.
She was wide open when I got home from work mowing tall weeds around the farm.
Things change in an instant. … Jenifer came into the house, as a newly confirmed tractor operator, with attitude. Opinionated, sarcastic and downright rude. It was scary, like gazing into a mirror.
I am so proud.
Two New Pigs
Since our two sows have been infertile for about two years and freeloading, we ended up buying two feeder pigs that our neighbor Carl picked up in Wilkes County a couple of weeks ago.
They are a Tammothworth/Hampshire cross. Levi has named one Rusty and is working on the name of the other.
