The FBI is continuing its search with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office for Erica Parsons and hoping someone recognizes her on its national website.

Parsons is a Salisbury teen who has been missing from her adopted parents’ home for the past two years.

While a local advertising company has recently added billboards bearing her information, the FBI has created a new missing persons poster that has been added to the FBI website at http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/kidnap and the FBI Charlotte homepage.

Casey and Sandy Parsons, her adoptive parents, have said they allowed Erica Parsons, who was 13 at the time, to live with her biological grandmother in the Asheville area. Sheriff’s deputies say they have found no evidence to support that.

Meanwhile, an advertising company has added four locations with digital billboards, asking the public for help in the case. Adams Outdoor Advertising has provided a number of billboards across the region.
