No students were injured Monday morning in a two-vehicle collision involving a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools bus, according to CMS officials.

According to police, a bus and a Lincoln SUV collided about 8:20 a.m. at The Plaza and Lakedell Drive in north Charlotte. A spokeswoman for CMS said Bus 1581 had just finished dropping off students at Briarwood Academy and there were no children aboard.
