Family Trust planning youth board
YORK COUNTY Family Trust Federal Credit Union is looking for students to serve on its Youth Advisory Board for teens ages 15 to 17 from York County’s four school districts.
Terms are a minimum of one year and no more than three years. Meetings are held once a month. No special knowledge is required.
Application deadline is Sept. 14. Service begins in October.

sweetFrog launches campaign against hunger
YORK sweetFrog Premium Frozen Yogurt has launched its 300 For 300,000 campaign in support of Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign, to help link children with the food they need.
sweetFrog, which has a York store at 962 E. Liberty St., has declared Sunday, Sept. 22 its “No Kid Hungry Day.” The company and its stores will make donations that will help connect kids struggling with hunger with up to 300,000 meals.
sweetFrog customers can make additional contributions in-store or online. More information about the campaign can be found at sweetfrogyogurt.com.
For patrons who visit local stores, sweetFrog will host their “300 Cups” sweepstakes where three patrons will have the opportunity to each win 100 free 12-ounce cups of yogurt. The first 300 people who visit each store have a chance to enter. The campaign will include local food drives beginning on Monday, Sept. 16.

Small Business fair Sept. 21 in Clover
CLOVER Fred Caldwell Chevrolet will host the first Fred Caldwell Small Business Vendor Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 21 at 974 Bethel St.
Businesses include Tino’s Window Tinting, All Things New, Parker’s Body Shop, Nobel Wheel Repair and Performance Dent Solutions.
“We wanted to create an event that not only provided a tremendous value to our customers, but also rewarded the vendors we use every day to make this a great place to do business, Caldwell said.
There will be food and live music entertainment, and local police officers will show parents how to properly install child safety seats.

YORK The Market at Inman Farms will host tailgate auctions this fall, at 10 a.m. Sept. 21 and Oct. 19.
The auctions will be offered with Spaulding’s Auction Service. Spots can be reserved for $10. Items will be sold to the highest bidders.
