When it comes to putting together a fall wardrobe, we all have different budgets and
varying styles. So we asked three of Charlotte’s best-known fashion stylists to take their
favorite looks from the hottest fall 2013 trends and translate them into a real-life budget.
Christine Nelson ($100)
The owner of her own personal styling business, Simply Sassy ( simplysassycoach.com). Nelson put her money into affordable staples with edge and pizzazz, as well as a great basic layering piece designed to stretch through winter.
(Christine’s picks - all info is in captions: Land’s End turtleneck, Target moto jacket, gap pointed animal-print flats)
Lindsey Regan Thorne ($500)
An interior designer-turned wardrobe stylist and makeup and hair artist with her own business, Be Pretty (www.lindseyreganthorne.com). Thorne’s finds run the gamut from a dress for a night on the town to a layered necklace designed to turn heads.
(Lindsey’s picks: zara skinny pant, zara bag, Anthropologie earrings, Anthropologie layered necklace, booties, ASOS black dress)
Sonya Barnes ($850)
CEO of Harris & Barnes international image and communications firm. Barnes went for the wow factor, splurging on a pair of killer Valentino gloves, as well as houndstooth and leather pieces that can show off both your business and edgy sides.
