The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office made a second arrest Friday in connection with a break-in at a Christian ministry in Denver.
Elizabeth Parker, 33, of Maiden turned herself in Friday morning and has been charged with two counts of breaking and entering and two counts of larceny after breaking and entering.
Sarah Elizabeth Leatherman, 44, also of Maiden was arrested Thursday morning and faces the same charges.
The two women are accused of breaking into East Lincoln Christian Ministries on Catawba Burris Road in Denver about 2:30 a.m. Aug. 30. Nearly $1,000 worth of property was stolen, and at least one suspect returned about 6:30 a.m. and took roughly $150 worth of clothing, according to officials.
Detectives posted video surveillance on Facebook and identified the suspects through tips from the public. Leatherman and Parker each were placed under a $3,500 secured bond in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center.
