Furniture pad makes great pin cushion
At the suggestion of our vet, our dog Pepper receives a daily dose of fish oil. I use a corsage pin to puncture a capsule that I then squeeze over her food. To keep the pin handy, I attached a one-inch adhesive felt furniture pad to the side of the bottle. Voila – a mini-pincushion! Charlotte Hendrix, Fort Mill, S.C.
Catch cold water for the plants
I keep an empty gallon milk jug under my kitchen sink and use it to catch water while I’m waiting for it to heat up. Then I use it to water the houseplants.
