The PARC Department of the town of Cornelius has partnered with Set Up Events to host a portion of the Charlotte area’s first Half Iron Distance Triathlon Sept. 29 at Bailey Road Park.This is event No. 19 of the AAA Car Care North Carolina Triathlon Series.The swim segment is 1.2 miles, the bike segment 56 miles and the run segment 13.1 miles.The swim will take place at the Davidson College Lake Campus. The bike course will start there, wind through four counties and finish at Bailey Road Park. The run will begin and end at Bailey Road Park.
