YORK Police arrested a Rock Hill woman last week at a gas station after she threw beer cans at a clerk and assaulted an officer, according to a York Police report.
Cassidy Neely Howie, 25, Rock Hill, became irate after a clerk of a Kangaroo Express told her she couldnt purchase beer because she was visibly intoxicated.
The report states that Howie began shouting profanities at the clerk last Sunday and threw the beer at him, hitting him in his arm.
When an officer asked Howie for identification, she replied that she had left it in a bar and that she wasnt driving. According to the report, she stated that she would just go to another store to purchase alcohol and said F--- the police, before taunting the officer to arrest her by sarcastically putting her hands behind her back laughing.
Howie was then told she was being placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and began to struggle with the officer, kicking him in his leg.
She continued to struggle after officers placed her in their patrol car, kicking the rear passenger window and shouting racial slurs at the officers as they drove her to Moss Justice Center.
Howie was charged with assault against a police officer, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
