Two sought in Shelby shooting

Cleveland County sheriff’s investigators are asking for the public’s help in finding two suspects in the robbery and shooting of a Shelby man Sept. 28.

The victim was shot in his head at his home but survived, Sheriff Alan Norman said Friday.

Investigators have identified and obtained warrants on two of three people they say were at the victim’s home: Thomas Oliver Jr., 27, who has lived in Gaston and Cleveland counties; and Tedrick Huskey, 19, of the Shelby area.

Anyone with information about the suspects’ whereabouts is asked to call the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office at 704-484-4888.
