Caleb York, Providence: Completed 14-of-17 passes for 181 yards and two scores to lift Providence to an upset of previously unbeaten West Meck. York completed 10 passes to North Carolina-bound receiver Austin Proehl. The pair hooked up for both touchdowns.
Nick Vagnone, Porter Ridge: Scored game-winning two-point conversion in 35-34 upset win over Independence. He took a direct snap from center Eric Hogan and ran in untouched. Prior to that, Vagnone had a 52-yard interception return for a score and a 1-yard scoring run.
Deshaw Andrews, York (S.C.): Quarterback threw for 332 yards and four touchdowns in 56-24 win over Fort Mill. York, ranked No. 9 in the S.C. 4A poll, moved into the Observers Sweet 16 this week, at No. 10. York is 6-0.
Dalton Helms, Nation Ford (S.C.): Was 22-of-35 for 358 yards and six touchdowns in 42-19 win over Lancaster.
Rocky Reid, Concord: Finished with 36 carries for 338 yards and four touchdowns in 63-50 win over Central Cabarrus. Reid also had a 53-yard touchdown catch.
