ROCK HILL Five teenagers accused of threatening a Rock Hill womans sons with a gun allegedly vandalized their home and assaulted one of the boys who tried to protect his younger brother on Friday, police say.
Officers on Saturday spoke with a woman, 40, who told police about five juveniles threatened her sons, ages 16 and 18, with a gun, according to a Rock Hill police report. At about 10:30 p.m. Friday, the boys went to her Cauthen Street house to fight her sons.
The boys locked themselves in their home as the group of boys damaged a side window to try and get inside, the report states. The older son walked outside in fear that his younger brother would be harmed.
Thats when the group jumped him, police say, leaving him with a cut on his left eye that began to swell.
The pastor of the church that owns the Cauthen Street property told police he is extremely concerned for the familys safety. Several neighbors in the area also told police they were concerned about the five juveniles because of past issues.
Police were unable to contact the boys this weekend.
