Forum to discuss redistricting reform

A coalition of liberal and conservative groups plans to hold a Charlotte forum on redistricting on Oct. 16.

The N.C. Coalition for Lobbying and Government Reform is sponsoring the forum Caldwell Presbyterian Church, 1609 E. Fifth St.

The forum will feature a discussion of current redistricting practices along with proposals to change it. The panel will include a representative from the John Locke Foundation and Common Cause.
