A man and woman facing burglary charges in Hickory now face similar charges in Rowan County, authorities say.
And the two are being investigated for possible involvement in a third break-in, according to authorities.
Brian Maynor and Cory Overcash have been charged in connection with an Oct. 2 break-in on Providence Church Road in eastern Rowan County, the sheriff’s office says.
According to authorities, the suspects were spotted later that day at a Sheetz gas station in Salisbury, attempting to sell items such as golf clubs, guns and electronics to customers in the store. Investigators say they believe those items might have been stolen property.
Deputies say Maynor and Overcash are being investigated in connection with an Oct. 3 break-in at a home on Timberlane Trail, off Mooresville Road in the western part of the county.
Police say the two were arrested Oct. 7 in Hickory after a burglary there.
Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to contact Rowan County sheriff’s detectives at 704-216-8715 or 704-216-8704.
