There is a lot of movement in this week’s Observer Sweet 16 poll – but not at the top.
Led by unbeaten Providence and Garinger, the top five spots remained the same. After that, South Mecklenburg jumped three spots into the top 10 at No.8. Freedom did the same, moving up to No.9. Community School of Davidson jumped five spots to No.10. Community School (9-0-2) is unbeaten and has won six straight matches.
Three new teams are in this week. Country Day is back in the poll at No.15; Lincolnton jumps in at No.14 and West Caldwell at No.16.
