Statistically speaking: Business expectations decline for N.C. owners

Seventy-seven percent of business owners say the new health care law has had no impact on their hiring plans, according to a fall 2013 PNC Economic Outlook survey, which surveyed small and midsized North Carolina owners. Here are other findings from the report:

8% of owners surveyed plan to take out a new loan in the next six months.

34% expect to see an increase in sales in the next six months.

34% said that rising interest rates will hurt their company’s activity during the remainder of 2013.
