Jones slipped a left-footed shot from the top of the 18-yard box past goalkeeper Angelica Jimenez for her third game-winning goal of the season for Charlotte (8-5-2, 3-2-2).
UNC Greensboro 1, Davidson 0: Ashley Stokes scored during the first half and the Spartans (8-5-2, 3-1-2 Southern) stopped a two-game winning streak by host Davidson (5-8-3, 3-3).
Wofford 0, Appalachian State 0: Kimberly Cohn made four saves to record her sixth shutout of the season for the Terriers (6-3-4, 2-1-3), and Megan Roberson made two stops for her second shutout as the host Mountaineers (6-5-3, 3-1-3) earned a Southern Conferencece tie.
USC Upstate 1, Jacksonville 0: Rebecca Sanzsole converted on a penalty kick during the 31st minute and Sarah Plantz finished with eight saves and to earn her fifth shutout of the season as the Spartans beat the host Dolphins for the first time in seven meetings.
No. 9 Clemson 2, Pittsburgh 0: Alex Stocking scored during the 42nd minute and Thomas McNamara during the 52nd as the ninth-ranked Tigers (9-3-2, 4-2-2) handed the Panthers (0-8-4, 0-6-2) an ACC defeat. Chris Glodack recorded the shutout, making three saves.
No. 19 North Carolina 1, Syracuse 0: Cooper Vandermaas-Peeler scored during the 37th minute to give the host Tar Heels (5-2-5, 2-1-5) the win against the Orange (8-5-1, 2-5-1) in the first meeting between the programs.
Liberty 3, Presbyterian 1: Blessing Tahuona scored once during each half to help the host Flames (7-5, 3-3) to the Big South victory against the Blue Hose (3-9, 1-4). Ignacio Monchetti got Presbyterians lone goal.
