Billy Graham back home after lung check-up

By the time word got out, the patient was almost ready to go home: The Rev. Billy Graham, who was admitted to Mission Hospital in Asheville Tuesday for a precautionary pulmonary test, was back at his house in Montreat Thursday morning.

Graham spokesperson Jeremy Blume said the 94-year-old evangelist was alert and in good spirits during his stay. He had been admitted to Mission in May 2011 with an illness diagnosed as pneumonia and in August 2012 with bronchitis, but this case was not so severe.

Graham will celebrate his 95th birthday with a party Nov. 7. The list of invited guests includes Bill Clinton, Sarah Palin and Donald Trump.
