ROCK HILL A Rock Hill woman quarreling with another woman about their mutual “baby daddy” told police that three women punched her, pushed her to the ground and kicked her as she lay on the floor of a club this weekend, according to a police report.

The woman, 33, reported the assault to officers on Monday, though it happened on Saturday, according to the report. She told Rock Hill police that she was at the 803 Club on East Main Street when three women approached her. An argument ensued, the woman told police, during which some of the victim’s friends “tried to protect” her.

The woman did not elaborate on how her friends protected her and she would not disclose their identities to authorities, the report states. The situation escalated when one of the women, 29, punched her and knocked her down. Two other women then kicked her before she managed to get up and leave.

The woman told police that she and one of the assailants both have children by the same man, the report states. The woman could not adequately tell police why she waited two days to report the assault. Police recommended that she seek a courtesy summons against her alleged attackers.
