Thank you for your patience during the outage.
Our letter to readers from Oct. 24:
Dear iPhone users:
If you haven't updated to iOS 7.0.3, your Charlotte Observer app will function as it always had.
However, Apple released a minor update to iOS 7.0.3 for iPhones that is temporarily incompatible with our app.
The update for iOS 7 was not made available to developers ahead of its release, which meant that the vendor for the Observer app couldn't detect a bug in the code. Our vendor has fixed the bug and is releasing the Observer update, which is compatible with iOS 7.0.3, to the Apple app store on Thursday.
Because Apple reviews all updates, we might not have our fix in the store for a few days. We apologize for the malfunction and the delay.
