Estate-planning program Saturday for school employees

Teachers and other school employees can have wills and other estate planning documents done for free Saturday at a Wills for School event in Charlotte.

The program is planning from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Alston & Bird law practice offices, 101 South Tryon Street.

Sponsors are Alston & Bird, the Charlotte School of Law, Legal Services of Southern Piedmont, and Duke Energy. Organizers say last year’s event served 90 educators with an estimated value of the free legal services at $90,000.
