Trick-or-treater hit by car in west Charlotte

A trick-or-treater was hit by a car in west Charlotte on Thursday night.

The collision happened on Tuckaseegee Road near Mulberry Church Road, about five miles west of uptown Charlotte.

Paramedics transported one person to Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The driver stayed on the scene after the collision. Police haven’t released a narrative of what happened, but don’t expect criminal charges to be filed, according to WCNC-TV, the Observer’s news partner.
