Jenifer loves working with gourds! (Light bulb just went off. ... So, that’s why she married me. ...)

She has gone bat crazy over gourds again. Bought a few from a neighbor and has revived gourds from the basement and is re-painting them. She broke out the Dremel, files, hack saw and paint and is in a frenzy.

I am just trying to stay out of her way.

Dynastes tityus

Found a beetle at work, very cool looking. Unfortunately, it was dead. Eastern Hercules Beetle. I brought it home and put it on a shelf in my office.

Ellie was using my computer last night to type up a five-page paper for school. I pointed out that Dynastes tityus was looking over her shoulder. Freaked her out!

Apparently, 15-year-old girls have little tolerance for what their parents think is funny.
