Savannah, Ga., stages its food-and-spirits festival at various locations, Nov. 11-17. Weekdays offerings include connoisseur dinners, classes, discussions, etc. The largest event is the Nov. 16 Taste of Savannah, noon-4 p.m. at Ellis Square. Myrtle Beach NOV. 23

Tree-lighting at Broadway at the Beach

The Broadway at the Beach retail/entertainment complex at Myrtle Beach kicks off the holiday season Nov. 23 with its Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration. Entertainment, at 6 p.m., includes holiday performances by tribute artists from Legends in Concert. The lighting of the 141,000-plus bulbs on the 52-foot tree is at 7 p.m. Fireworks begin at 8.
