Community Thanksgiving service: Ecumenical prayer service. Prayer shawl ministry: The group knits and crochets prayer shawls for people in need. We also provide hats and scarves for the homeless and baby blankets for baptisms. Meetings are 5:30-7 p.m. Sundays and 10:30 a.m.-noon Wednesdays. 19600 Zion St., Cornelius.

Holy Spirit Catholic

Craft show: More than 50 crafters, baked goods, and lollipop prize drawings. Luncheon menu includes pulled pork sandwiches, soups, hot dogs, beverages and desserts. Free admission. 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 23 in the Parish Activity Center. 527 N. C. 16 N., Denver.
