South End’s Sullivan’s Steakhouse has a new fall menu. A look finds a Mediterranean Farmers Salad with fresh greens, baby arugula, feta and cucumbers tossed in lemon vinaigrette, an Asian Crunch Salad with Napa cabbage, mango, chilled noodles and more, a New England Lobster Roll on a buttered brioche roll, a shaved steak sandwich with horseradish and au jus and pulled chipotle chicken tacos. Also new is a prix fixe item, The Mixer. The Mixer allows guests to choose a starter such as a Caesar salad, an entrée such as filet medallion sliders and a side like parmesan fries for a complete lunch.

Uptown’s e2 hosts the Bourbons of Buffalo Trace Distillery at 6 p.m. on Nov. 21. Buffalo Trace’s brand manager Kris Comstock will be on hand to discuss the distillery’s finest bourbons while guests enjoy Chef de Cuisine Brian Mottola’s five-course menu. The courses will each be paired with selected bourbons. The menu: rabbit gumbo, fresh lamb Merguez with crushed sweet potatoes, raisin chutney and spiced broth, a cedar planked strip steak with Aligote pomme Dophisine and orange-ginger carrot and a vanilla smoked duck breast with caramel hominy and parsnip chip. Blue

Chef Gene Briggs’ Uptown restaurant Blue celebrates 10 years in the business from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. on Nov. 22. Party will feature some of Charlotte’s best local musicians including Alex Myrick, butler passed canapés and dinner and drink specials. Call for reservations: 704-927-2583. Thanksgiving Brunch is also happening at Blue on Nov. 28 from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. A carving station will feature spiral sliced glazed ham and roast turkey, a number of salads, fruit and cheese platters, corn beef hash, a Spanish frittata and crepes and omelets made to order. Dessert selections include pumpkin pie and pumpkin cheesecake, seven-layer bars, coconut cake, fruit tarts and a sundae station. Cost for the meal is $39.95 for adults and $14.95 for children 6-12. SouthPark’s Ruth’s Chris hosts a five-course Riedel Wine Dinner on Nov. 22 at 6:30 p.m. Danny Sanford of Fine Wine Trading Co. will discuss select wines paired with a special menu. Highlights from the menu include fall squash bisque with a quail egg and chive, a prime beef medallion with black truffle butter and a coffee rubbed lamb chop. Glazed mini pumpkin muffins with candied walnuts are the dessert selection. Cost for the evening is $99 per person. Opening at noon on Thanksgiving Day, City Tavern will be serving traditional holiday fare. A turkey dinner with three sides is $17 for adults with a second serving for just $5. Strawberry Hill’s Red Rocks hosts their annual Thanksgiving all-you- can-eat buffet from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. with turkey and prime rib carving stations, spiral-cut ham and Atlantic salmon. Mac’s Speedshop

Mac’s annual Turkey Smoke happens Nov. 27 at their South Boulevard location. Turkeys and hams are brought in fresh by Mac’s pitmasters, smoked on site then delivered to customers right from the smokers. Hickory smoked turkeys will be available in 10-12 or 22 pound sizes; 8-pound, house-cured smoked hams will also be available to order. Sides serving 12-15 guests each are also offered; choices include country-style mashed red potatoes, sweet potato casserole, Mac’s fresh cranberry chutney, sausage and herb stuffing, Mac’s famous mac and cheese and green bean casserole. Turkey gravy to go will be on site for just $5. For dessert choose from homemade apple, spiced pumpkin and bourbon pecan whole pies. While the Turkey Smoke happens at Mac’s South Boulevard location, turkeys, hams, sides and pies can be picked up from all three Mac’s locations. The Ritz-Carlton

Uptown’s Ritz-Carlton unveils their holiday tree on Nov. 26. The eight-foot tree, crafted entirely of French macarons, will be on display through Dec. 29 in the lobby. . Also in the lobby, a four-foot sleigh made of sugar and a crew of chocolate reindeer.

Thanksgiving pies are for sale at Bar Cocoa located within the Ritz. Pumpkin, sweet potato and pecan can be preordered at 704-972-4397.

The Ritz’s BLT Steak is serving a prix fixe Thanksgiving menu for $68 for adults and $12.95 for kids. BLT Steak will be open from 3-6 p.m. on Nov. 28 and is accepting reservations at 704-972-4380.
