Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say they are looking for a man who allegedly cut off his electronic monitoring device Tuesday.

Garnett Coulbourne, 26, had been ordered last Friday to wear the device, after an arrest on charges of breaking and entering a motor vehicle, larceny and financial card fraud.

Police say the device was cut off in the 600 block of Alpha Street. That is in the Grier Heights community, off Dunn Street and not far from Monroe Road.

Police ask that anyone with information in the case contact the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team, 704-336-VCAT, or call 911.
