Click any icon to get details on 2013 exam results for a school (yellow dots are charter schools). Numbers for math, reading and science show the percent of students who passed state exams. Third-grade reading is included because starting in 2014, failure will trigger a series of actions that could include retention. Overall proficiency is a composite of exams taken by all students at that school. Growth is a calculation designed to show whether students met, exceeded or failed to meet targets for a year's academic growth.
