The 60-inch Monterey transitional vanity and sink from designer Christopher Grubb comes with a 58-inch mirror with a ledge along the bottom for makeup and toiletries.

Cool shades of gray are among the top picks for home decorating these days. The new Monterey vanity from Beverly Hills-based designer Christopher Grubb has arrived with a gray oak finish in response to that trend.

“After many years of dark stains and neutral, beige cabinet finishes, we’re seeing a distinct shift to shades of gray in our high-end, custom projects,” said Grubb, interior designer and president and founder of Arch-Interiors Design Group.

The 60-inch transitional vanity and sink come with a 58-inch mirror with a ledge along the bottom for makeup and toiletries. The countertop floats above the base and comes in a range of colors and material. There are also options for the vessel sink. Prices start at $2,399 at www.modernbathroom.com.
