Happy Day-After-Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for living in Charlotte – there’s always something fun to do. So now that the food coma has worn off, here are some things to get into this weekend.

EpiCentre Craft Brew Crawl (210 E. Trade St.): Celebrate your Black Friday shopping victories. Check-in is at 8 p.m. at Strike City, and the brew tour will travel to Vida, BlackFinn, Bubble and Whisky River before finishing at Suite, with a different craft featured at each stop. Tickets are $20, which includes two drinks at each bar.

Waxhaw’s Holiday Festival of Lights at Historic Downtown Waxhaw (Main Street): With a free Christmas concert 5-7 p.m., then Santa will arrive and light up the town with more than 75,000 lights. The forecast calls for snow – fake snow, that is (not the kind that makes you run to the store to get milk and bread). 5-9 p.m. Free. 704-843-2195.

Speedway Christmas at Charlotte Motor Speedway (5555 Concord Parkway South, Concord): Last time, I filled my drop top with girlfriends then took the top down and drove around the track with hot chocolate in the console. Different movies show on the giant screen each week; this week’s feature is “The Polar Express.” It really does make for a fun night out. You have until Dec. 30 to go. 6-10 p.m. $20 per car. 704-455-3200.

Altered Reality at Neighborhood Theatre (511 E. 36th St.): The Cultural Initiative anniversary event with art to stimulate all five senses, including live music, interactive art, a dance party, chef-prepared food art and local artists’ work on display. 8 p.m.-1 a.m., $10 (18 and up). 704-942-7997.

For some live music, Jennifer Knapp and Margaret Becker will be at The Evening Muse (3227 N. Davidson St.) for the “Hymns of Christmas” show at 8 p.m. $20. 704-376-3737. Meanwhile, country star Dustin Lynch will be at Coyote Joe’s (4621 Wilkinson Blvd.) at 9 p.m. $15. 704-399-4946.

Sunday Funday

Pre- and post-game Panther party at The DogHouse (401 W. Morehead St.): Enjoy a live sports radio pregame broadcast, your favorite bartenders from the EpiCentre, and TVs for watching other games. The Panthers are on a winning streak, so this tailgate party will be even bigger than usual. (Hopefully the post-game one will be, too.) Kicks off at 10 a.m. No cover. 704-570-9610.
