Summer Dietz and Lindsey Wilson are two of 11 N.C. high school band students chosen to participate in the 2014 U.S. Army All-American Marching Band at the All-American Bowl on Jan. 4, at San Antonio’s Alamodome.

Summer, of North Lincoln High, marched alto sax as a freshman before switching to color guard and rifle line for the next three years. Lindsey, of West Lincoln High, performs on baritone. She has marched for four years and has been a section leader for three.
