Getting married? Here are some tips:
Q. How do I accommodate the vegans, diabetics, Kosher-keepers, people with food allergies or dieters?
A. Its impossible to foresee every guests dietary needs and preferences. Your best bet is to choose one or two basic meat entrees and one meat-free entree. Or consider having a buffet. Most people with food requirements dont expect special treatment at a wedding.
Q. If I went to someones wedding, am I obligated to invite them to mine?
A. If you dont want them there, dont feel guilted into sending an invite. Simply explain that your wedding is going to be small.
Q. My parents want us to have a traditional wedding, but we dont. What should we do?
A. You should do it the way you want but keep in mind that its a big day for your parents, too. Sit down together and try to decide whats most important to everyone, then come up with a game plan.
