Rock Hill Northwestern polished off an unbeaten season with an impressive performance in the S.C. 4A Division II state championship game. Mallard Creek hopes to do the same thing in next week’s N.C. 4AA championship round.

Both teams are nationally ranked and both teams, as they’ve been all season, are locked at the top of the Sweet 16 poll.

Mallard Creek began the season No. 1 and hasn’t moved. Dittto Northwestern at No. 2.
