You can’t plant garlic in this weather

Garlic still not planted. ...

We were going to do it over the long Thanksgiving weekend, but 2 inches of rain nixed that. Was hoping to do it this week with the warm-up but just enough mist/drizzle/light rain made the soil too wet to work. We will have a very small window ... to plant some garlic, if the ground is workable, before the rains come.

Jenifer probably won’t be at the market this month. Most of our late-planted fall vegetables froze out two weeks ago when it got down to 21 degrees. Enough there for us to eat and salvage, but not much to sell.
