Three teenagers were shot following an argument in east Charlotte Thursday afternoon.

Police had few details about what sparked the argument just after 3 p.m. near where Milton Road meets East W.T. Harris Boulevard.

No one has been arrested in connection with the shooting and police didn’t have a description of the shooter.

Police say all three of the victims, who are in their late teens, were ultimately transported to Carolinas Medical Center near uptown Charlotte with injuries that weren’t life-threatening.

Police say the shooting wasn’t a random act of violence.
