Police and FBI agents are trying to find a man who jumped over the counter of a South Charlotte bank and got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

The robbery happened around 10:30 a.m. at the Bank of America branch on Golf Links Drive.

The suspect jumped over the counter and demanded money from the teller stations, but didn’t display a weapon.

Police described the suspect as a black man, about 5-foot-10 and 230 pounds. He was wearing a ski mask and gloves and got away in a small, black, four-door car with what appeared to be North Carolina license plates.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the robbery is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600 or the FBI’s Charlotte office at 704-672-6100.
