No sound on your cable channels? Here’s why

By Elisabeth Arriero

No, you’re not losing your hearing.

Time Warner Cable is reporting that some of its channels do not have sound, an issue they became aware of around 7:30 a.m. Monday, said a technical support worker named Trish who declined to give her last name.

The employee said the company has already received more than 100 calls from customers in the Charlotte region about the issue.

“The technical team is aware of this and they’re doing the best they can to resolve the problem,” said Trish. “Some of the channels don’t have sounds but they have clear pictures.”

She expects the problem to be resolved by 11 a.m.
