Four CMPD officers are life-savers at UNC game

Four Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers helped save the life of a man who suffered a medical problem last month at a University of North Carolina football game, according to a WCNC-TV story.

The four were attending the UNC-Old Dominion game in November in Chapel Hill, WCNC reported, when a woman came up to them and asked for help.

“It was probably the most amazing feeling I’ve had in my whole career,” said retired Major Andy Leonard.

The other three officers, according to the WCNC story, were Deputy Chief Katrina Graue, Captain Gregg Collins, Lt. Steve Huber and Leonard.
