Man robbed at Gastonia motel

GASTONIA Police are looking for two men in connection with an alleged robbery early Thursday at a motel in Gastonia.

The robbery was reported about 1:45 a.m. at a motel in the 1400 block of East Franklin Boulevard, according to police.

The victim, a 22-year-old from Bessemer City, told police he was approached by two men in the hotel breezeway. The men robbed him at gunpoint of two necklaces and about $100 in cash, the victim told police.

No description was released of the suspects.
