A Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer on a motorcycle suffered severe bruising in a collision with an Infinity vehicle at Neal Road and Spring Mist Drive on Tuesday evening.

Officer H. Chapman was traveling north on Neal Road on a dual sport motorcycle shortly before 6 p.m., when the southbound white Infinity turned left in front of the motorcycle, causing it to strike the rear of the Infinity, police said.
